OUR PROGRAM

WORCS

The WORCS Program is a person-centered program that assists returning citizens to discover a career-pathway. Participants will learn job readiness skills, be prepared for apprenticeships, learn how to start a business, while working with cognitive behavioral programming to develop better insights into who they are and where they want to be. You get paid for 12 weeks to complete the program.

Job Readiness Training


Job Readiness Modules include:

  1. Mapping your past
  2. Identifying goals and the barriers and obstacles that prevent reaching those goals
  3. Career readiness – Identifying job strengths and weaknesses
  4. Time management
  5. Active listening and communication skills
  6. Interpersonal skills
  7. Financial Foundation and budgeting
  8. Job search and introducing the entrepreneurial process

Paid Work Experience


A Subsidized (paid) Work Experience with transitional jobs. This provides individuals the opportunity to practice work habits and skills that are necessary to succeed in any regular job environment.

Entrepreneurial Training


TWH has partnered with the Launcher program to deliver a curriculum that teaches individuals the skills to start their own business.

Pre-Apprenticeship


TWH has partnered with Sussex Tech's pre-apprenticeship program to provide a comprehensive instruction for individuals seeking to enter skilled trades.


TWH prepares you to engage with potential employers and convey yourself and your abilities effectively.
