P.M. In October 2020, probation officers contacted TWH on behalf of P.M., who needed housing and employment assistance. He was also recovering from a stroke, which made steady work difficult. Initially enrolled in Workforce Development, it soon became clear that the lasting effects of his stroke meant employment wasn’t realistic. TWH case management helped him secure Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) by February 2022. As of April 2025, P.M. is living independently and doing well, navigating life’s challenges with resilience. --- R.P.F. Referred in February 2021, R.P.F. needed help relocating from New Castle to Sussex County. He enrolled in Workforce Development, quickly found employment, and by September had moved from shelter living into more stable, private housing. Over time, he worked consistently, purchased his own truck, and by July 2022 had paid off his fines and successfully completed probation. --- F.G. When F.G. was referred by a community partner in March 2021, he was seeking counseling for substance use, mental health support for trauma, and help obtaining documents like a state ID, birth certificate, and Medicaid. He also needed employment opportunities and was interested in becoming a peer counselor. Through TWH, he enrolled in Workforce Development and even worked at Banyan Recovery for a time. By March 2024, after years of steady effort, F.G. had worked through many personal challenges and continued moving forward in his re-entry journey. --- A.W. In July 2021, A.W. was referred to TWH’s Job Readiness program by correctional staff who recognized it as a strong fit for him. Upon release that September, he quickly found employment but set his sights higher — he wanted to earn his CDL license. Between October 2021 and February 2022, he secured housing and work that provided on-the-job training toward that goal. By January 2025, A.W. reported more than three years without any legal incidents, steady employment at the same company, and a new role as a co-parent to his two-year-old son. He also acquired a dispatch license, further advancing his career. --- M.S. M.S. was referred to TWH in August 2022 by another client — a powerful sign of trust in the program. He received housing and transportation support, completed job training through the Delaware Food Bank, and secured employment soon after. --- D.G. TWH involvement with Daryl began Sept. 2023 but his journey began in Dec. 2020 when his Mom passed away, which led to a downward spiral of drinking and a serious car accident in 2024. It was then that he began working on his sobriety in earnest. Today he is a resident of a sober-living house in Georgetown, has a job as a Property Manager in Rehoboth, and attends church and AA meetings regularly. He has completed DUI classes and will soon have his license reinstated. His next goal is to find permanent housing for himself and his two children ages six and eight. --- S.W. TWH involvement with S.W. began in May 2024 when he was enrolled in the Job Readiness program facilitated by TWH inside SCI. Upon his release in Sept 2024, he opted to participate in our WORCS program, which provides insight into entrepreneurship. As a prolific artist the modules were invaluable. Today S.W. is not only a member of the Milton Art Guild but is a member of their Board. --- Q.G. In June 2024, after a Level 5 interview, Q.G. entered TWH programming. He participated in WORCS, transitioned to Level 4, and successfully gained employment. He now has stable housing and his own vehicle, important steps toward independence and stability. --- J.K. (Veteran) J.K., a veteran, connected with TWH in August 2024 following a Level 5 interview. Upon release, he joined WORCS, secured employment, and now has reliable transportation — marking important milestones in his re-entry journey.
